- Helping communities, their leaders, and their sponsors with technology skills development and choices
- Coaching community leaders and technology stewards
- Community studies and evaluations
- Organizing learning events such as the Lisbon Dialog or the Nahcotta Muckabout
- Developing a Web Crossing toolkit for events and conferences
- Facilitating community meetings and events
- Planning and producing online events for communities of practice
- Teaching online workshops (such as the Foundations of Communities of Practice workshop with Etienne Wenger, Bronwyn Stuckey and others)
- Deepening insight into the politics of learning by working with the logic of organizational change and community dynamics by leading dialogues based on learning histories
- Automated Proceedings of complex Web Crossing events (i.e., burning a CD version of a workshop or a conference)
